Almaty Creators Co-Creation Session

On October 6, Almaty's «НеСанаторий» hosted a co-creation session of Almaty Creators — a gathering of representatives from the city's various creative-industry fields as part of developing the local creative economy. The meetup's format was deliberately informal: not a conference with presentations, but a space for people who rarely cross paths in their daily work to meet, exchange experience, and collaborate.

Following the gathering, a full set of materials was compiled — photos, video recordings of talks, and a digitized record of participants' ideas and proposals, which became the basis for further work with the city's creative community.

The format stays alive: participants are invited to keep in touch through a dedicated group and continue sharing ideas via an open online form — the session was conceived not as a one-off event, but as an entry point into an ongoing community.

The Almaty Creators meetup organically continues TransforNATION's line of work on developing regional creative economies — alongside «Креативный Павлодар» (Creative Pavlodar), but in the form of a grassroots, horizontal industry gathering rather than a structured program with the local akimat.
