2025–2026 · Program architect and methodologist: five modules from incubator to international festival

BAZAART — a creative-entrepreneurship accelerator

BAZAART is a Creata Academy program for cultural producers and artisans across Central Asia, turning traditional craft into a sustainable business. The name references the bazaar — a shared cultural code of the region, the place where cultures meet and the first deal is struck: this image runs through the whole program, from the incubator's first day to the closing festival.

The program's architecture is five linked modules. The «Incubator» in Dushanbe turns an idea into a first business prototype over five days of intensive work. A month of online «Mentorship» reinforces the practice. The «Accelerator», again in Dushanbe, takes the project from prototype to export readiness. The final two modules take place in Almaty: «BAZAART.ART» — the Tajik-Kazakh Connection venue, where artisans from Tajikistan and Kazakhstan meet in person — and «BAZAART Future Lab», a residency where joint cross-border products take shape.

The program's throughline artifact is the path from a participant's client portrait and business model to their own brand, a product catalog, and a joint Kazakh-Tajik product. Participants enter the program as artisans with no business experience; they leave as entrepreneurs with sales, a brand, and international contacts.

The first run of the program is being delivered with support from the ALIPH Foundation, in partnership with CIAQ — the Alliance of Creative Industries of Kazakhstan — on the Kazakhstani side. The BAZAART methodology is designed to be reusable: it is not tied to a specific donor and can be launched with any partner supporting the development of creative entrepreneurship in the region.
