Google for Startups (Astana Hub)

In 2023, TransforNATION supported the Google for Startups programme hosted by Astana Hub, acting as mentor and team tracker. Over the year, three cohorts ran through the programme: one in April, followed in September by a specialized "1.4" cohort for more mature teams.

The role of a tracker in an accelerator differs from a one-off mentoring session: it means regular support of a team throughout the entire cohort — from diagnosing product and business hypotheses to preparing for the final pitch in front of the programme's investors and partners. Google for Startups is focused on rapid growth for technology startups, and the tracker's work is built around concrete, measurable metrics of a team's week-to-week progress.

Three cohorts in one year is one of the most intensive mentoring cycles TransforNATION has run in an accelerator setting, confirming the durability of its collaboration with Astana Hub as key infrastructure for supporting the country's technology startups.
